Hone your hard technical skills if you want to break into “analyst” high finance roles.

Prove you can do the work. For example, write a thorough and comprehensive report that shows your analytical skills. Build and analyze financial models. Demonstrate that you can hit the ground running on the job.

Highlight skill sets that others don’t have. Outline your experience that others don’t have that you can leverage at your ideal role.
